Specially for yoga practicing people you have Bungalow places for example the Sanctuary and Ananda, all offering and massages. Koh Phangan is about 2 1/2 hours from Surat Thani Province and about 45 minutes from Samui by ferry. The easiest way from Bangkok to Koh Phangan is to get yourself a joint tickets from Songserm Travel Center who operates joint ticket for (Boats and Speed boats, buses, train, airplanes) to Phangan. Or another option is to fly an 1 hour flight by Bangkok Airways daily from Bangkok to Samui and catch the catamaran speed boat to Phangan. Kohpangan has many beautiful remote beaches and coves, a few of them only accessible by trekking through jungle paths or by taking a boat. Kohpangan's climate is during all seasons a perfect for a holiday. Nice weather days and a refreshing ocean breeze nearly everyday. The best time for a visit, end of December to late of March is the best vacation island experience.
